Fragment of an ornate leafy border encircling the Declaration of Independence Description of complete broadside from American Antiquarian Society: Image of the Declaration of Independence with facsimiles of the signatures of the signers. At top is a bust length portrait of "General George Washington" with an eagle above him. A portrait of "Jefferson" and "Adams" are on either side of Washington. Framing the text of the Declaration are the seals of the thirteeen colonies.
